Terms of Service

Last updated: June 17, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Shelfworth (the "Service") at shelfworth.net, operated by an individual based in the United States. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for your account, your credentials, and all activity under it. Keep your password secure and let us know promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

Acceptable use

  • Don't use the Service for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive.
  • Don't harass other users or send spam through messaging, offers, or trades.
  • Don't scrape, copy, or bulk-extract data from the Service, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it.
  • Don't misrepresent items you list, or list items you don't have the right to sell.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add — your listings, submissions, photos, reviews, and notes. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host and display that content as needed to operate the Service (for example, showing a listing or a public profile you've chosen to make public). You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the rights to share it.

Marketplace

The marketplace is a venue that lets collectors connect to buy, sell, and trade editions. Any transaction is solely between the users involved. Shelfworth is not a party to those transactions, does not take possession of items, and does not handle payment or shipping between buyers and sellers. We make no guarantee about any listing, item, user, price, or completed sale. You are responsible for evaluating and completing your own transactions, and for complying with any laws that apply to them.

Pro subscription

Shelfworth Pro is a paid subscription (currently $3.99 per month) billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each period until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change Pro pricing or features with notice; changes apply to future billing periods.

Estimated values

Estimated and market values shown in the Service are for informational purposes only. They are derived from third-party and public data, may be inaccurate or out of date, and are not appraisals or guarantees of what any item is worth or will sell for.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shelfworth and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service or from transactions between users.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe create risk to the Service or other users.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
