Afterlight by Illumicrate is a monthly, book only contemporary romance subscription for book lovers. We created Afterlight to share our love of romance reads, and to curate exclusive editions of new and upcoming romance releases. Our aim with Afterlight is to champion both new novels from much loved romance authors, as well as romance debuts, and to highlight romances featuring underrepresented characters within the genre. All of our Afterlight subscription picks are adult romances in a contemporary setting, with the occasional paranormal inclusion. Our subscription picks feature varying levels of spice. Past boxes from before January 2024 will contain 2-3 items, and will ship at the subscription box rate. Our Afterlight Exclusive shop editions are split into two branches: Afterlight Exclusives, which are special editions of adult romances separate from the subscription, and Love Letters, exclusive editions of YA romances.
